Robot food delivery is no longer the stuff of science fiction. But you may not see it in your neighborhood anytime soon.

SEOUL, June 1: A self-driving robot equipped with cameras and an LED screen greets visitors at the lobby in the headquarters of South Korea’s largest mobile operator, checking their temperature, dispensing hand sanitiser and disinfecting the floor.

The robot waiters follow fixed paths to deliver food and drink orders to customers, who are asked to keep out of the robots’ way. Others serve up entertainment, such as Pepper, a “receptionist” robot that can hold a conversation and also dance with customers.

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Nepal is taking part in the International Robot Competition to be held in Vietnam.  A team of students of the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk are preparing to give their best in the Robot Contest scheduled for coming August in Ninh Binh province of Vietnam.
