Locals threaten to halt Melamchi water supply

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: While the Melamchi water supply project gears up to deliver water to Kathmandu in the coming days, the local residents have issued a warning that the water supply will be halted. The Melamchi Water Supply Flood Victims Struggle Committee has summoned a meeting at Ganeshe Bagar in Helambu Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 on Saturday to plan a protest program.
