Bhusal inaugurated the 132-33-11 KV Motipur substation constructed in Banganga Municipality-7 of Kapilvastu as well as 220-132 KV New Butwal substation constructed in Sunwal Municipality-13 of Nawalparasi.
KATHMANDU, Feb 6: A man died in a road accident that took place at Butwal Sub-metropolitan-2, Tinau Bridge. The deceased has been identified as Basu Acharya, 30, of Sandhikharka Municipality-1, Arghakhanchi, according to the Lumbini Province Traffic Police Office.
BUTWAL, Oct 24: Two people have been killed and one has been injured after an ambulance and a motorcycle collided in Butwal. An ambulance (Lu 1 Jha 287) and a motorcycle (Lu 24 Pa 3987) collided on the East-West Highway at Butwal-12 Tamnagar on Saturday night. A motorcyclist and a person riding behind heading west from Butwal were killed in the incident, according to the police.

Shankarnagar Drinking Water and Consumers Cleanliness Institution is building an ultra-modern smart toilet system for the first time in Nepal. The toilets are being built on the space available between the main lane and the service lanes that were initially allocated for building a flower bed. However, considering the pedestrians' needs, the toilets are being built on both sides of the road next to the service lanes.
