BUTWAL, April 19: A young woman was shot in Butwal. The incident took place in Butwal-11, Buddha Nagar, where Tika Bisht Chetri was shot above the waist.
The young woman, originally from Raina Devi Chhahara in Palpa district, operated a snack shop in Butwal-11, Buddha Nagar. According to eyewitnesses, a young man arrived on a motorcycle around 9:30 a.m. and opened fire on the 29-year-old unmarried woman.

Police reported that she is currently receiving treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.
