BIRGUNJ, Oct 1: The import of paddy and rice from Birgunj checkpoint has decreased in two months of the current fiscal year 2024/25 compared to corresponding period of last fiscal year.

BIRGUNJ, Dec 30: After the latest outbreak of coronavirus in India, authorities in the border city of Birgunj have adopted high vigilance to prevent the virus from entering Nepal. As the number of people infected with COVID-19 in India is increasing day by day, passengers entering Birgunj from across the border are allowed to enter only after a mandatory test.
