JHAPA, Nov 22: A wild tusker killed Padmalal Tamang, 72, who has been residing in Bhutanese refugee camp at Beldangi, Damak.

BANIYANI, April 30: Four houses have been gutted in a fire occurred in the Bhutanese refugee camp of Beldangi, Jhapa. The fire broke out from hut no 260 belonging to Tikaram Chapagian this morning, said spokesperson at District Police Office, Mahendra Kumar Shrestha.

BANIYANI, April 26: More than 200 Nepali citizens are currently living near the bordering region of Jhapa waiting to return home. They are stationed at neighboring Indian market towns like Galgaliya, Pani Tanki, Naxarbadi and other areas, according to Nepal Red Cross Society, Jhapa president Lok Raj Dhakal.
