Chuda Bahadur Dangi, 17, of Dhanman-7, Salyan and Rudra Prasad Oli, 18, of Garuwa-3 of the district, who had come to work for daily wages, drowned while swimming to escape from sweltering heat at around 2 in the afternoon.
Police took the bodies out of the lake after a group of local youths playing football nearby informed about the incident.
