Police said villagers caught Dayaram Chaudhary, 30, of Jogidaha-3 while he was raping the minor girl in the local community forest on Thursday and handed him to the police.
The girl had gone to the forest to collect firewood and fodders. Police have already filed a case against the culprit, who was brought to the district police office on Friday morning.
