TAPLEJUN, July 20: A young man of Kavrepalanchok who works at United Hydropower located in Ward No. 4 of Meringden Rural Municipality of Taplejung drowned in a river. The deceased is 28/29-year-old Tirtha Tamang of Kavrepalanchok.
According to Police Inspector Kushram Karki, Information Officer for the District Police Office, Taplejung, the body of Tamang has been kept at Taplejung Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem.

The police informed Republica that the relatives of the deceased are coming and after the post-mortem the body will be handed over to the relatives.
