Young Entrepreneurs' Society launched

KATHMANDU, Dec 16 : The British College, Kathmandu, says that it has launched The Young Entrepreneurs' Society (YES) with the aim of providing a platform for transforming ideas into business trough a 'learning by doing' approach. Issuing a statement, the college said the members of the society would be able capitalize knowledge of other members within the society's framework.

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The British College, Kathmandu, says that it has launched The Young Entrepreneurs' Society (YES) with the aim of providing a platform for transforming ideas into business trough a 'learning by doing' approach. Issuing a statement, the college said the members of the society would be able capitalize knowledge of other members within the society's framework.



"The society actively encourages students to take an initiative and proceed in their professional endeavors. YES is run by and works for the students of The British College," it said. The YES program was officially inaugurated by industrialist Rajendra Khetan, who congratulated the YES team for their active initiative.

Addressing the function, Khetan talked about trade, demand and supply, and the scope and opportunity of doing business in Nepal. According to the statement, YES was founded by The British College students Subhadra Shree Rajbhandari, Krishna Bahadur Singh, Safal Shrestha and Aawhan Shrestha.
