PARSA, March 12: Yet another incident of rape of a woman has come to light and this time in the district.

A 30-year-old woman of Subarnapur VDC-1 was allegedly raped by Ram Prasad Neupane, 48, of the same VDC, according to District Police Office, Parsa. The accused raped the woman finding her alone while she was foraging for green fodder in the field, said DSP Bir Bahadur Oli, Spokesperson of DPO, Parsa.
Neupane was arrested after the relatives of the woman informed the police. Oli said both the accused and the victim were subjected to health examination at the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital based in Birgunj and that the report of the test was yet to come. Police have claimed that Neupane confessed to the crime. RSS
