Speaking at an interaction, organized by Madhesi Journalists Association in Kathmandu, Yadav said, “I am also in favor of unification among Madhes-based parties but unification should be based on policy.” He accused Madhesi leaders of being not serious toward unification.
Yadav said, “If there is no unification among the Madhesi parties then there could be electoral adjustments for November polls.” He accused the Regmi-led government of hatching conspiracy to project his party as anti-election party.
“There is no alliance between Mohan Baidya´s CPN-Maoist and our party,” he said maintaining that Baidya is against the elections and his party´s case is different. “We want a meaningful Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.” He further said that the disputed issues of constitution drafting process should be settled before the elections.
