Where does your interest to work in this field come from?
Communication, especially written, has always been my passion. Pursuing mass communication and journalism in the Bachelors level also strengthened my desire to work in this field. This profession encourages me to read, write, meet new people and go places, all things that I love!
What are some of the challenges that you face at work?
The challenges I face are quite similar to the ones being faced by all professionals today – the need to be an all-rounder and the best in your field, to keep yourself up-to-date with millions of minute happenings. But the trick is to treat these challenges as opportunities; they make work all the more interesting and keep me on my toes.
What are your personal work ethics?
My work ethics reflect that of the organization I work for – those being that of respect and integrity. I believe in respecting work and undertaking responsibilities I am expected to, and carrying it out to the best of my abilities.
What is it that you like most about your current work?
I have always believed that work is demanding and chal
lenging no matter where you go, so it is the environment that makes all the difference. The atmosphere here is so friendly and amiable that I feel energized. Whether it is the fact that I am credited for the smallest milestone I accomplish by supervisors, or the constant care taken of employee security and comfort, it makes me feel wanted. I must have said this to our HR Manager a hundred times already!
What are your long term plans?
One thing is for sure, I will be writing whatever I do! Even in my present job, I relish the responsibilities of writing and editing.
