Writ of habeas corpus filed at Supreme Court demanding DIG Silwal's release

KATHMANDU, April 24: Senior Lawyer Purna Prasad Rajbanshi on Monday filed a writ of habeas corpus at Supreme Court (SC) demanding release of Deputy Inspector General(DIG) Nawaraj Silwal who was detailed by Nepal Police Administration earlier today.

A single bench of Chief Justice Shushila Karki is set to issue an order in connection with the habeas corpus writ filed by Rajbanshi at the SC.
