BHOJPUR, May 28: A woman has slashed her three-year-old son to death with a khukuri at Panitanki of Bhojpur municipality-9.

Samjhana Thapa, a spouse of Surya, 25, chopped off her son, Sambodhan into two pieces, said the police. The attack took place on the upper floor of her brother-in-law, Raman Rai.
Samjhana is said to be suffering from a mental disorder. The police have held Samjhana and started investigations. Originally from Ramprasad Rai rural municipality, she was living with her deceased son in a rented apartment at Panitanki.
