Local females are restoring the Bhairav temple at Taumandi, Bhaktapur. There is a commendable female- participation in the mending works, from carrying the construction materials for the restoration to help to get things put together.

All this is being done to preserve the local and passed on culture and tradition that withstood for 71 years.
Krishna Maya Ghemosu said, “I remember being a part of making the 55 windows temple for about 9 years. I prefer working for something that helps promote my culture rather than staying at home.” Women from 35 years to 71 years formed a group of 18 people for building the Bhairabnath temple. This temple is being attached Biswa Prasad 5 storyed temple.
Local women are forming groups in Lalitpur as well for a similar purpose. Restoration of cultural sites is the restoration of culture and heritage as well.
The restoration work began from September 19, 2018. The municipality has allotted a budget of Rs 46, 36,745.13 paisa. The budget will be distributed in three rounds
The municipality released the first budgeted money for the commencement of the work. 80 percent of the work has been completed and the work is likely to get completed very soon.
