With 43 more recovered today, Nepal’s COVID-19 recovery tally reaches 333

KATHMANDU, June 5: Forty-three more patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the nation, taking the national COVID-19 recovery tally to 333 on Friday.

According to Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, three patients from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan and 27 from Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar were discharged after recovery on Friday.

All three individuals discharged from BPKIHS, Dharan are males from Jhapa and of the 27 discharged from Koshi Hospital, four are females and 23 are males from Dhankuta, Khotang, Udayapur, Morang, Saptari, Sunsari and Jhapa.

Also, 13 individuals from Susil Koriala Memorial Cancer Hospital and Lions Hospital have been discharged after a successful recovery. They are one female and 12 males from Banke.

With 76 recovered patients in Province 1, 121 in Province 2, 32 in Bagmati Province, three in Gandaki Province, 92 in Province 5, two in Karnali Province and seven in Far Western Province, 333 COVID-19 patients have recovered in Nepal so far. Of them, 272 are males and 61 females.
