Shyam Sundar Mahato killed his wife Babita Mahato, 32, at around 1 am early this morning, according to DSP in the district, Hariraj Wagle.[break]
Killer Mahato has fled the village leaving three children in the village after the incident.
Meanwhile, police have recovered a homemade pistol, three rounds of bullets and a magazine from the house.
Police said that police have launched manhunt to nab the culprit.
