Speaking at a press meet today in Kathmandu, Sangita accused her husband of domestic violence for not bringing Scorpio vehicle as a dowry. "He had been assaulting me demanding a Scorpio vehicle," she added, "I had miscarriage twice due to the assault." She also said that the former minister forced her out from his house some four months ago after failing to address his demand.However, CA member Gupta has denied any wrongdoings. "Today's press meet is a part of the attempts for my character assassination," he added, "Everyone is aware about my characters." The former minister said that he had been suffering from mental torture ever since he married her some seven years ago.
"I have filed for divorce in the court," he said. He also said that the couple had been living separately for past four years. "I have never assaulted anyone in my life," Gupta added.
