Wetland committee formed

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The government has formed an 11-member National Wetland Committee to design and give policy-level recommendations in the long-neglected field of wetlands restoration, management and creation.



The committee, which will have secretaries from seven line-ministries and two members from the National Planning Commission, will be chaired by the minister for forest and soil conservation.
