KATHMANDU, Jan 8: The weather is expected to be clear in most parts of the country today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. Currently, there is a partial influence of western winds in Nepal.

The hilly areas of the country are experiencing mostly clear conditions, while certain parts of the Terai region are also reporting clear weather. In the afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are anticipated to have partly cloudy conditions, with the rest of the regions remaining mainly clear. 

During the night, the weather will become partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while remaining areas will continue to experience mainly clear skies.

The weather is expected to be partly cloudy in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with the rest of the region having partly cloudy to mainly clear conditions on Tuesday afternoon. 

There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces. Nighttime conditions are predicted to be mostly clear with partly cloudy skies.

Similarly, the hilly areas of Koshi provinces are expected to be partly cloudy, while the rest of the areas will have mainly clear weather. At night, the hilly areas of the Koshi region are likely to be partly cloudy, with the remaining areas maintaining mainly clear conditions.
