Weather to remain clear during Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: It will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country today and the weather will be clear in the remaining areas, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. Although there will be partial impacts of the westerly wind, the weather will generally be clear throughout the Dashain festival, the Division said.

According to meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, light rain along with a thundershower is predicted in one or two places of the hilly areas this afternoon.  Light rain alongside thunderstorms is likely at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces, he said.
