Weather to be generally clear to partly cloudy today

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The weather is generally clear in most parts of the country, while it is partly cloudy in the hilly areas, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. At present, some parts of the lowlands of the country are affected by fog in the morning.

This afternoon, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of Province 1, Bagmati province and Gandaki province, while the rest of the region will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki. Tonight the weather will be generally clear over Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces with partly cloudy skies. According to the department, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan areas of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
