KATHMANDU, Nov 2: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is currently a partial influence of western winds in Nepal.

According to the MFD, the weather is generally clear in the hilly areas of the country while the rest of the country is partly cloudy. 

The MFD has said that the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country this afternoon and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country and there is a chance of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country.

The officials of MFD have also said that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

The MFD said that the weather will be generally clear with partly cloudy skies over the country tonight.

The officials of the MFD have also requested the general public to take necessary precautions to avoid possible damage as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and there is also a possibility of light rain/snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
