KATHMANDU, Nov 27: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that the weather will be changeable in four provinces of the country today. According to the MFD, there is a general influence of western winds in the country now.

The MFD has said that there will be partial to normal rain in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces, and the rest of the areas will be partly cloudy. The MFD has also informed that there is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of the rest of the provinces including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki.

According to the MFD, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces and light snowfall in a few places in the remaining high hilly and mountainous areas.

Similarly, there will be partial to normal showers across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of the rest of the provinces including Sudurpaschim and Karnali. Also, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in a few places in the highlands and Himalayan areas of the country.

The MFD said that there is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of the Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces and there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall at a few places in the mountainous areas and light snowfall at a few places in the remaining high hilly and mountainous areas. Ordinary people are requested to take necessary precautions.
