In a program organized at Godavari in Lalitpur on Friday, Forest Minister Yadav also promised to plant at least 30,000 trees in the country through the Ministry of Forests to honor and support the 30,000 kilometer journey made by Sadhguru for the Save the Soil campaign.
“The ministry is always ready to move forward with your campaign. We have solidarity with the good works you have done,” Minister Yadav said. “We will fulfill our promise by starting the tree planting work within the month of September.”
Minister Yadav said that he was very happy to welcome Jaggi Basudev, the head of the campaign, to Nepal. Minister Yadav said that the grand campaign launched by Sadguru Jaggi to increase the biological power of the earth's arable soil by conserving the soil is not appreciated enough.
Along with handing over the letter of solidarity to Sadhguru, Yadav also presented a statue of one horned rhinoceros as a gift. Minister Yadav said, "It is highly commendable that you have traveled around the world to raise public awareness and build political consensus for immediate policy initiatives to prevent soil destruction."
"The work done by Sadguru is the work of us, the politicians. He is doing the work that we should have done. What could be more happier than this?" Minister Yadav further said.
