KATHMANDU, April 6: Organizers of the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mobile Expo 2015 -- CTC Mobile Bazar -- have said the basic aim of the upcoming mobile phone exhibition at the CTC Mall in Sundhara, Kathmandu, was to develop the CTC Mobile Bazar as the main hub for sales and other services related to mobile phones and their accessories in the country.

The expo begins on April 10.

Organizing a press conference on Sunday, the organizers said the expo marks the official start of operations of the CTC Mobile Bazar itself and aims to make it the primary destination for all mobile device enthusiasts. The week-long expo, according to the organizers, offers services to visitors through more than 100 stalls and 17 service centers. Firms that offer services and products from almost every mobile phone brand available in the market will be present at the expo.

Sandip Man Shrestha, the President of CTC Mobile Bazar, said the expo would have 'No Cheating, Confirmed Prize' as its theme to discourage the grey market that exits in the mobile devices business in Nepal.

Likewise, the organizers also have an up to 55 percent cash back offer on mobile phone purchases every hour during the event through lucky draws. The event will have participations from mobile phone brands like Samsung, Huawei, Intex Mobile, Rose Mobile, BQ, Spice, Sony, Panasonic, Wincum Fly and Videocon, among others. Meanwhile, the organizers have set a special lucky draw system for students who have appeared in the recently-held SLC examinations. The expo will offer mobile phones ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 100,000.
