KATHMANDU, March 20: Dol Prasad Aryal, the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP ), has said that he has decided to give a vote of confidence to the government with the belief that it will address the issues of ordinary citizens.
Participating in the discussion in parliament on the proposal of the prime minister to take the vote of confidence, Aryal said that a common minimum program of the government was formulated with their efforts and it included many of their agendas.
"We support and oppose based on merits and demerits," he said, "Our support to the government is not a confession that whatever the government does is right. We will stand in the opposition on the day when honesty is lost in the issue of citizens.”
He also thanked CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli for supporting his party when there was a crisis.
