Govt to launch skill-based programs across the country from Mid-July: Minister Aryal

DHADING, June 29:  Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Dol Prasad Aryal has said the skill-based programs will be organized across the country with effect from July.

DHADING, June 29:  Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Dol Prasad Aryal has said the skill-based programs will be organized across the country with effect from July. 


Minister Aryal also requested the provincial and local governments to support the skill-based programs, while inaugurating the 'Youth Skill Training and Employment Fair' at Nilakantha Municipality of Dhading on Friday.


Minister Aryal said that skills are indispensable for workers who are going to work abroad or are involved in domestic employment. Skilled workers can make good income and avoid possible accidents.

He said that such persons can fulfill their dreams even if they are forced to work abroad. He also pointed out the need for a huge investment for skill oriented programs.


Minister Aryal said that his ministry has promoted the concept of Job Bank to promote and organize internal employment. The data of all workers returning from foreign employment will be collected in the bank. 


“The data about the workers’ who have returned from foreign employment will be kept and their skillets will be counted. The data of the laborers who have returned from India will also be kept. We will prepare an internal employment strategy according to the data," he said.


Aryal stated that the constitution should focus on proper implementation of federalism. “The authorities of local governments are willing to organize the fair. This fair has given a positive impression that the purpose envisioned by the constitution has been achieved," he said.


Various employers and government agencies are participating in the fair.
