Wardens of all the National Parks and Wildlife Reserves and conservation sector, Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Chairmen of the Buffer Zones are participating in the conference.
Discussions will be held on challenges seen in wildlife conservation sector and strategies to be adopted to resolve the challenges in the conference.
Inaugurating the conference, Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation, Tek Bahadur Thapa, said that the government has been making preparations to hold election to the Constituent Assembly within third week of July.
Minister Thapa pointed out the need of moving ahead by making coordination with all the stakeholders to face challenges seen in the wildlife conservation sector.
Director General of the Department, Megh Bahadur Pandey, said that the conference is organised to resolve conflict seen between man and wildlife.
Similarly, Colonel of the Nepal Army, Babu Krishna Karki, said that there was a need of mobilizing additional human resources in wildlife conservation.
Lava Awasthi, Coordinator of the Buffer Zones, demanded that the budget of the wildlife conservation sector be spent in the sector.
