RASUWA, April 15: A ward chairman, who went missing after a tipper accident in Syaubari, Kalika Rural Municipality-2 of Rasuwa, has been found.
Ward Chairman of Kalika Rural Municipality-1 Malphurpa Tamang had gone missing in the accident last night. According to the District Police Office, Rasuwa, he was found around 8 this morning. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Devendra Pandey said he was sent to Trishuli Hospital as there was no external injury but might have sustained internal injury.
Two people died in the accident. The deceased have been identified as Sagar Tamang, 25, and his brother Rajendra Tamang, 27, of Ramche, Kalika Rural Municipality. The accident took place at around 11PM on the way to Betrawati from Ramche.
While Sagar is the driver of the ill-fated vehicle, his brother Rajendra is the principal of Grang Primary School. Two people were brought to Rasuwa Hospital after the accident. Both of them died while undergoing treatment.
