ROLPA, June 28: The vote casting has been halted after a voter poured acid into a ballot box while it was underway in Rolpa Municipality-9.
According to police, the acid has destroyed 10 ballot papers.
The identity of the acid attacker is yet to be ascertained. Police are investigating the case, said DSP Ram Prasad Gharti Magar.
As many as 150 votes had been cast so far in the municipality.
