Vote counts for gen secy, treasurer underway

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Counting of votes for the post of General Secretary and the Treasurer under the 12th general convention of the Nepali Congress is underway on Wednesday, following the completion of the same for the post of Party President earlier in the morning.



Though the counting of votes for the two posts was scheduled at 2 p.m. it was delayed by an hour.[break]



NC leaders Prakash Man Singh, Bimalendra Nidhi and Narahari Acharya are in the fray for the post of General Secretary while Chitralekha Yadav and Padma Narayan Chaudhary are contesting for the post of Treasurer.



Counting of votes for the post of Central Members shall begin after the results for the post of General Secretary and Treasurer are announced.
