KATHMANDU, July 22: The Visit Nepal Year 2020 Secretariat has honored the British Hockey Players Team for creating a world record by playing a match at an altitude of 5019 meters in Nepal.

"The team has shown a potential of altitude sports in Nepal, which can be a medium of promoting Nepal as one of the world's best destinations for high altitude sports," a statement issued by the secretariat on Sunday read.
The team was led by team manager Andy Halliday, who is also a member of the national team of
English field hockey.
