MYAGDI, June 7: Okharbot Secondary School in Myagdi has been closed down for the past four days after the teachers and students suffered from fever and common cold.

According to school headmaster Bal Krishna Upadhyay, some 80 students including three teachers have fallen sick. The disease has caught over 70 locals too, he added.

The number of the patients is on the rise, he said.

It is said that the patients could not get any treatment yet due to the lack of health workers in the local health posts.

When asked, assistant health worker of the District Hospital Bharat Acharya said the hospital has not received any information about the spread of the disease yet.
