KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Streets and marketplaces in the Kathmandu Valley look crowded after the government decided to ease the prohibitory orders on September 9.
The decision allowed vehicles to ply the roads and markets and private offices to reopen on a conditional basis.
But as people are ignoring the basic social distancing rule, there are apprehensions that the virus could spread even more rapidly in the Valley.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the Valley has gone up sharply in recent days. A total of 645 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Valley on Friday alone.
