CHITWAN, Nov 30: Identities of seven people who were killed in the Trishuli bus plunge have been ascertained.
The deceased have been identified as Nudaraj Adhikari, 52, of Arghakhanchi; Amar Bahadur Shahi, 30, of Dailekh; Krishna Dhakal, 50, of Bardghat Municipality-1 in Nawalparasi; Deepak Pandey, 30, of Devdaha-9, Rupandehi; Om Bahadur Sinjapati , 39, of Bangra of Kapilvastu and one Bishnu of around 30 years of age whose complete identity is yet to be ascertained, according to the District Police Office chief Deepak Thapa. They died on the spot.

One Laxmi Poudel, 43, of Sandhikharka-4, Arghakhanchi who had been earlier taken to Lalitpur-based B&B Hospital for treatment succumbed to injuries amidst treatment on Wednesday night itself.
A bus (Lu 2 Kha 291) collided with a truck (Na 6 Kha 4972) before falling down into the Trishuli River as it was en route to Arghakhanchi from Kathmandu on Wednesday morning. Among the injured (22), nine are being treated at the Bharatpur-based College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital and 13 have been admitted to B&B and Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital.
Three have been suspected missing since the accident. Manisha Thapa and Shankar Kunwar of Arghakhanchi are among them, according to their families.
Efforts are underway to take out the bus from the river. Thapa's six-month-old baby boy who was injured in the accident is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur-based College of Medical Sciences.
The bus had left for Arghakhanchi picking up 26 passengers from Balaju, four were picked up from Kalanki, and there were 32 people including the driver and his assistance on board the bus when it met with the fatal accident at 9:15 am at Chumlingtar of Ichhamanakamana Rural Municipality-3 in the district.
