Vice Prez hopeful of consensus

JHAPA, Dec 4: Vice-President Paramananda Jha has expressed hope that constitution writing process will be completed within the next six months.



Talking to the media persons at Damak of Jhapa district Saturday, he said that since the political parties have been trying to resolve the disputes among them, he was hopeful of early end to the present political impasse.[break]



The Vice-Chairman, however, stressed for public pressure to promulgate the new constitution on time.



In case the new constitution will not be written on time, the state affairs will be conducted through political consensus, he said. He arrived in Jhapa to attend a religious function at Larumba of Ilam district.
