Vice Prez calls on Prez

KATHMANDU, Oct. 25: Vice-President Parmananda Jha called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas Monday.



Discussion on the President’s imminent visit to China and the Vice-President’s recent visit there was held on the occasion, according to the Office of the President.



Meanwhile, Russian Ambassador to Nepal Andrey L. Trofimov paid a farewell call on the President Monday. The Russian ambassador is returning home upon completion of his tenure of office in Nepal.



On the occasion, President Dr Yadav expressed gratitude to the outgoing Ambassador Trofimov for his contribution to promoting mutual interest and strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries, said the Office of the President.
