Nepal's outstanding performance in the match has instilled the ray of hope that it could do better in cricket in the days ahead, Vice President's Press coordinator Manoj Gharti said on behalf of the Vice President.
The Nepali cricket team and its coach deserve congratulations, the Vice-president said in a statement Monday.
It may be noted that he had reached the TU cricket ground where Nepal and Namibia played the match to boost up the morale of domestic team on Saturday.
Meanwhile, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal congratulated the Nepali cricket team and coach as well on their outstanding performance in the match.
