VC Srestha, General Secretary Bogati resign from their positions

KATHMANDU, July 20: Amid the hierarchy row, Vice Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist), Narayan Kaji Shrestha and the party´s General Secretary Post Bahadur Bogati have tendered resignation from their positions at the party´s ongoing Central Committee´s extended meeting on Saturday.



Leaders Shrestha and Bogati´s resignation comes after the party´s extended meeting of the Central Committee approved the Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal´s proposal to take up the single office bearer set-up while reshaping the party´s organisational structure. [break]



Both the leaders tendered resignation from their positions at the Office bearer´s meeting that held before the party´s extended meeting of the Central Committee.
