KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Two days after the US government shutdown, the US Embassy in Nepal has tweeted that the Embassy, including its library and social media services would come to a temporary halt.
Two days ago, the US government faced a shutdown after senetors failed to agree on an immigration bill.
The Embassy tweeted, “Due to the lapse in appropriations this twitter feed will not be updated regularly. Please visit @StateDept for updates.”
Meanwhile, the US Embassy will continue its consular services.
