KATHMANDU, April 1: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 136.46 and the selling rate is Rs 137.06, maintaining the same rate from Sunday.
The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 147.63, and the selling rate is Rs 148.28, indicating a drop from its yesterday's value. The buying rate for one European euro was Rs 147.76, and the selling rate was Rs 148.41 on Monday. The buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 176.63, and the selling rate is Rs 177.40; the buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 154.92, and the selling rate is Rs 155.60.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 85.30, and the selling rate is Rs 85.68; the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is Rs 95.08, and the selling rate is Rs 95.50; and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 101.68, and the selling rate is Rs 102.13.
Value of US Dollar remains unchanged, Euro decreases

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.14, and the selling rate is Rs 9.18; the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 18.81, and the selling rate is Rs 18.90; the buying rate for one Saudi riyal is Rs 36.38, and the selling rate is Rs 36.54; and the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 37.44, and the selling rate is Rs 37.60.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.02 and the selling rate is Rs 4.04; the buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.15 and the selling rate is Rs 37.32; the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 30.75 and the selling rate is Rs 30.89; the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.25 and the selling rate is Rs 9.29; the buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 13.61 and the selling rate is Rs 13.67; and the buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 19.79 and the selling rate is Rs 19.87.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.54 and the selling rate at Rs 17.62; the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 442.69 and the selling rate at Rs 444.64; the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at Rs 361.99 and the selling rate at Rs 363.58; and the buying rate for one Omani rial at Rs 354.46 and the selling rate at Rs 356.02. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it can revise this exchange rate at any time as necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank's website.
