KATHMANDU, June 2: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 136.63, and the selling rate is Rs 137.23.
The buying rate for one Euro is Rs 155.05, and the selling rate is Rs 155.73. For one British pound sterling, the buying rate is Rs 183.91, and the selling rate is Rs 184.72. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 166.11, and the selling rate is Rs 166.83.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 87.87, and the selling rate is Rs 88.26. For one Canadian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 99.44, and the selling rate is Rs 99.87. The buying rate for one Singaporean dollar is Rs 105.82, and the selling rate is Rs 106.29.
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.48, and the selling rate is Rs 9.53. For one Chinese yuan, the buying rate is Rs 18.98, and the selling rate is Rs 19.06. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.42, and the selling rate is Rs 36.58. For one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is Rs 37.48, and the selling rate is Rs 37.65.
According to the NRB, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.16, and the selling rate is Rs 4.18. For one UAE dirham, the buying rate is Rs 37.20, and the selling rate is Rs 37.37. The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 32.10, and the selling rate is Rs 32.24. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 9.88, and the selling rate is Rs 9.92. The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 14.25, and the selling rate is Rs 14.31. For one Danish krone, the buying rate is Rs 20.79, and the selling rate is Rs 20.88.
The NRB has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.43 and the selling rate at Rs 17.50. For one Kuwaiti dinar, the buying rate is Rs 445.27, and the selling rate is Rs 447.22. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 362.41, and the selling rate is Rs 364.01. For one Omani rial, the buying rate is Rs 354.91, and the selling rate is Rs 356.46.
The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is Rs 160, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
The central bank has stated that it may revise these exchange rates as necessary at any time. Commercial banks may set different exchange rates. The updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank's website.
