KATHMANDU, May 12: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 136.30 and the selling rate is Rs 136.90.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro is Rs 153.31 and the selling rate is Rs 153.99. The buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is Rs 181.35 and the selling rate is Rs 182.15. Likewise, the buying rate of one Swiss Franc is Rs 163.93 and the selling rate is Rs 164.65.
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

The buying rate of one Australian Dollar is Rs 87.40, and the selling rate is Rs 87.78. Similarly, one Canadian Dollar is being bought at Rs 97.79 and sold at Rs 98.22. The buying and selling rates for one Singapore Dollar are Rs 105.00 and Rs 105.46 respectively.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.38 and the selling rate is Rs 9.42. Likewise, one Chinese Yuan can be bought at Rs 18.83 and sold at Rs 18.92. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 36.34 and a selling rate of Rs 36.50, while the Qatari Riyal is being traded at Rs 37.39 for buying and Rs 37.56 for selling. Furthermore, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.13 and a selling rate of Rs 4.15.
Similarly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
NRB has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. It has also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary based on the open market, and the updated official exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
