Upper House endorses proposal on Nepal Engineering Council (First Amendment) Bill

KATHMANDU, July 28: A session of the National Assembly today unanimously approved the proposal seeking consideration of the Nepal Engineering Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2076 BS.


Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai had tabled the proposal requesting the federal parliament’s upper house to consider the amendment to the bill.

Prior to this, National Assembly Secretary Rajendra Phuyal had tabled the 'Prison Bill, 2076 BS' along with a message received from the House of Representatives in the National Assembly session.


Similarly, Phuyal informed the upper house session about a message on the Yogmaya Ayurveda University Bill, 2079 BS received from the House of Representatives, the Lower House of the federal parliament. This bill was passed by the National Assembly and sent to the lower house along with a message.
