The deceased have been identified as Sunita Devi Sada, 30, and Mukhani Devi Sada, 55. As many as 22 people in the settlement have taken ill due to the unknown disease. Sunita died on Saturday and Mukhani Devi on Sunday night, the locals said.
Headache, vomiting and falling unconscious are among the symptoms of the unidentified disease, according to the locals.
Meanwhile, the District Public Health Office, Saptari, has sent a team of health workers from Rajbiraj to the settlement to identify and control the spread of the disease as soon as possible. RSS
