President Dr. Yadav said Nepali people fought with great enthusiasm and determination for democracy that it should be institutionalized taking the peace process to the logical conclusion.[break]
Inaugurating the newly constructed building of Devghat Area Development Committee in Devghat on Thursday, he said all Nepali should be united wherever they live in.
Religious harmony among people is the only need for the development of the country, said President Dr. Yadav.
He expressed his confidence that all the Constituent Assembly members would play their responsibility from their position on this regard.
On the occasion, he said Devghat has important role to create religious harmony in the country stressing on the need for developing other physical infrastructure in this area.
President Dr. Yadav said he respects all religion and stressed for safeguarding all religions they are followed in the country.
Pashupatinath, Devghat, Janakpur, Manakamana, Pathibhara, Lumbini including other places of religious importance could be developed as a religious center, said Dr. Yadav.
During the program, Secretary at Ministry of Culture Modaraj Dotel made commitment for the development of the Devghat area as per the master plan prepared for the development of the religious place.
The committee’s Executive Director Balram Paudel and member Tankanath Paudel presented the progress report and future plan for the development of the area.
Similarly, the committee’s Chairman Tilak Sapkota and committee’s advisory committee’s Coordinator Maiya Devi Shrestha gifted Dr. Yadav with Saligram.
