Uniglobe College commences incubation center

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Uniglobe College has started the incubation center, communication lab and financial lab. The program was organized to encourage the provision of multi-faceted as well as practical education that is relevant in the present global context. The inauguration of three different programs simultaneously has been a historical achievement that gives a distinct identity to the students, claimed Principal Dr Nar Bahadur Bista.

Former Health Minister Gagan Thapa inaugurated the center amidst a special program. Uniglobe business incubation center has been established for the students with entrepreneurship ideas or similar desires to directly support the best of them for reaching from ideation to implementation phase. Incubation Centre will help in protecting those prospective students with business ideas and converts their dream into reality through proper mentorship, guidance and supports. Ideas from students will be selected on the basis of its viability and feasibility which will be further transformed into meaningful business or industry through the proper mentoring process at Business Incubation center. After the completion of their studies, the students not only leave with their academic certificates but also graduate with their registered company.

The finance lab has been opened to aware the students with knowledge of foreign outlook and global financial market ups and downs so that they learn to secure the return from investments. Likewise, the communication lab has been established with a distinct aim to enhance the speaking and writing skills of the students that will transform their personality and aid them in the professional world through the use of various software-based learning approaches and lab works.

Dr Khagendra Ojha, the chairperson of the program asserted that Uniglobe College will be continuing such activities to produce skilled human resources as per the demand of the market. The program saw the presence of representatives from various organizations, journalists, teachers and students.
