DANG, April 18: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to rejoin the Lumbini Province Government after initially threatening to withdraw its support. This decision comes after negotiations with Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara resulted in the allocation of a ministry to the party.
After threatening to withdraw the support given to the government, Bhagwati Adhikari, a member of the party, was appointed as a minister by Chief Minister Mahara.
The Unified Socialist had earlier expressed dissatisfaction, claiming that the government had not adhered to a previous agreement regarding ministry allocation. In response to these concerns, CM Mahara has included Adhikari's name in the list of ministers.
